It's constituents Nagarmotha (Cyperus rotundus) and Sauth (Zingiber officinale) are potent anti-oxidants and exhibit anti-inflammatory effect. Gokhru seeds (Tribulus terrestris)  contain Harmine, also known as banisterine is a fluorescent harmala alkaloid that helps in rejuvenation of muscle tissues and is highly anti-inflammatory. Amaltas (Cassia fistula) and Nirgundi (Vitex negundo) is an analgesic herb that provides relief in swelling, muscle and joint pain and cramps. 

Wintergreen oil or Gandhpura tail, one of the main constituent of Rumatek oil, is traditionally extracted from the leaves of wintergreen plant. Methyl salicylate is an active ingredient of wintergreen oil that provides analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties to the plant. Sesame oil reduces pain severity and provides relief. Garlic oil and carom seeds oil with their anti-inflammatory properties are potent pain relievers and helps to counter arthritis and rheumatism.
